Fool n Final Review

This web portal privies the ultimate unlimited entertainment of Desi Movies and Music.

I am big fan of Hindi movies. I wasn’t much into Hindi movies until I came to US. After coming here I did not have as many options to hang as much I had in India. My roommate was movie freak and we used to watch movie everyday in our apartment. We had installed a projector to watch movies in Cinema style. So bottom line I have seen lots of movies both Hollywood and Bollywood.

Last Friday I went for Hindi Movie “Fool n Final”. I liked this movie for the all star-cast but as always I was not wearing my thinking cap while watching Hindi movie. I watch those for fun not to make sense out of it. Just when movie started, I was “Googling” my gray matter to find out the similarities of the movie with some movie that I have had already watched. I was feeling like “Déjà vu”. Just 15 minutes into the movie and I came to know that this is a Hindi version of British movie “Snatch”. I was like, Wahooo One More rip of. Director Ahmed Khan did not do well in making copy. There are so many Hindi movies out there which are good copies of Hollywood movies for example “Kaante” a mixture of “Reservoir Dogs” and “Usual Suspect” with some Indian Masala. I have a long list of Bollywood movies which are copies of Hollywood movies. Writer “Neeraj Vora” is a real smart writer, sees how intelligently he translated the story of “Snatch” and sold it for movie production. I am sure they are going to make money out of it because if you compare the two movies they did not do anything. Its like they dubbed the British movie into Hindi.

Here I present you the comparison of storyline of both the movies.

Snatch:

The movie contains two main plots, both of which are intertwined.

The first centers on a valuable 84 carat gem lifted in the snatch. It is stolen by ‘Frankie Four-Finger' (professional thief and gambling addict). Robbery takes place in the Jewish diamond district. Taking it (The Diamond) to London, the diamond's thief and courier, Franky Four Fingers arrives in the city as a stopover en route to New York to deliver the huge diamond to his bigwig crime boss, Avi. Franky can't resist temptation of gambling and London is a town with its share of illegal trade. In London, Frankie and the diamond fall afoul of local thieves and underworld figures including ('Cousin Avi', 'Boris The Blade', 'Franky Four Fingers' and 'Bullet Tooth Tony'). This leads Avi, who was supposed to receive the stone, to come to England to search for it, with the help of his cousin, Doug The Head (a jeweler who pretends he's Jewish because it's good for business) and Bullet Tooth Tony (bounty-hunter Russian gangster with a deserved reputation for being impossible to kill). This crowd of miscreants and malefactors scramble to claim the diamond for themselves while chasing each other and the whereabouts of the diamond.

The second part revolves around an unlicensed boxing promoter named Turkish. Turkish and his close friend Tommy get pulled into the world of match fixing. Turkish and Tommy are in debt to a psychotic local crime boss, Brick Top (known for feeding those who fall out of his favor to his pigs). Things get complicated when the boxer (Gorgeous George) they (Turkish and Tommy) had lined up gets incapacitated by a 'pikey' (Irish Gypsy) in a dispute when Turkish wants to buy a caravan off the Irish Gypsies. Brick Top wants him (Turkish) to arrange a fight and fix it. Turkish and his partner Tommy decide to acquire the services of Mickey, the same pikey who knocked out Gorgeous George. They then try to convince Mickey not only to fight for them, but to lose the fight. As events twist and turn, the two situations blend into one with a chain reaction of events carrying on for each and every character. Almost all of the characters cross the path of the other characters at some point in the movie, whether intentionally or not. Things go from bad to worse as it all becomes about the money, the guns, and the damned dog who had engulfed The Diamond.
